December 2018 onwards: Senior Lecturer in Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation for Aerospace Systems, Dept. Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

January 2012 to November 2018: Lecturer in Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation for Aerospace Systems, Dept. Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
September 2007 to December 2011: Research Fellow at University of Glasgow, Space Advanced Research Team, School of Engineering. Position funded by Glasgow Research Partnership in Engineering (GRPE).
November 2005 to August 2007: Research assistant at the Politecnico di Torino, Department of Aerospace Engineering. Position funded by the European FP6, in the framework of the research project "Fundamentals of actively controlled flows with trapped vortices" (VortexCell2050). Topic: application of evolutionary and deterministic optimisation techniques to design the shape of trapping vortex cavities.
January 2004 to October 2005: Post-doc position on soft computing techniques applied to the design of aerospace systems at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Aerospace Engineering. Grant of Politecnico di Torino.
January 2001 to December 2003: Ph.D. studentship at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Aerospace Engineering.
